“I have an idea.” “Me too!”
In a fateful meeting in the forest, two Midwest mamas found each other while brushing dirt off snacks and attempting to make conversation in between chasing toddlers. As our kids developed a friendship over their collection of rocks, we found common ground in not wanting adventures to stop after becoming parents. While we’re not experts, we believe in stumbling our way through new activities to quench our curious toddler’s minds and make memories along the way. Before heading out the door, we always found ourselves telling stories to our kids so they would know what to expect. However, we couldn’t find a book that introduced outdoor adventures in a kid-friendly way, while also teaching them about taking care of the Earth and the world around them. One hike led to another, and our book series was born.
We want to inspire children to splash in the puddles, find confidence in themselves after conquering their own mountains, and appreciate the simple beauty that nature provides. So answer the knock on your door and come join us to explore.
